Services
| Detoxification |
 |
Decision
Point provides detoxification services at our Bates Campus. This ten bed
unit is overseen by our Medical Director and nursing staff. All care is
designed to stabilize acute withdrawal symptoms and foster entry into a
continuum of treatment. We offer care in the comfort of private rooms on
a unit with its own community day room. |
| Residential Treatment |
| Residential services are provided
at our Bates Campus for men and women age eighteen and older.
Treatment is delivered within the context of a therapeutic
community working together to achieve recovery goals. Care is
delivered through small group, lecture, educational groups, and
individual counseling in addition to a host of therapeutic
community activities. Attendance at 12-Step meetings, multifamily
groups, and family involvement are key program components. Client
to staff ratio for residential services is 10:1. Each unit offers
semi-private rooms with common day rooms, laundry facilities, and
recreation areas. |
| Intensive Outpatient |
| Intensive
outpatient services are offered during the evenings for persons
who require a less acute level of care. Decision Point
incorporates the Matrix Model to deliver the most successful and
individualized care. The program incorporates a therapeutic
framework designed to explore critical issues related to an
individual’s alcohol and drug use, relapse prevention, family
dynamics, and social supports. |
| Specialized Women’s Services |
| Specialized Women’s Services for
pregnant mothers and women with children to age six are provided
for up to twelve months. This program offers addicted mothers the
opportunity to receive a broad range of alcohol and drug, medical,
mental health, prenatal care, and ancillary services while
residing with their children in a safe, therapeutic, nurturing,
and structured environment. |

Transitional
Housing |
| Decision Point maintains
transitional living environments for both men and women at our
Springdale location. Centrally located, this facility offers a
continuum of care for up to six months for persons in need of
housing and a structured environment in addition to continued
counseling and support. |
| Northwest Arkansas
Prevention Resource Center |
| This program, located in
Springdale, targets underage smoking, high risk behaviors among
teens, and facilitates training and coalition building among
agencies and groups who have the capacity to introduce positive,
early age social skills. |
| Drug and Alcohol
Safety Education Program |
| Decision Point provides
Arkansas state contract services for assessment and evaluation of
persons convicted of driving under the influence. The program
provides court assessments and all levels of mandated alcohol and
drug abuse educational groups. Assessments and classes are
provided in both English and Spanish. |
| Drug Court Treatment
Services |
| Specialized treatment services
are provided at Decision Point for drug court clients diverted
into residential treatment. Collaboration with courts,
identification and resolution of issues contributing to sanctions,
and continuing care recommendations are an integral part of the
treatment process for this targeted population. |
| Evaluation, Drug Screening |
 |
| Decision Point provides a wide array of
intervention and assessment services for persons needing to better
understand the problems faced by themselves, friends, employers, and
loved ones. Assessment and evaluations are administered by clinicians
trained in the identification of alcohol and drug abuse with reports
submitted to referring parties. Drug screens are administered as a
component of evaluations or for suspicion of drug use. |
| Admissions |
| Admissions to Decision Point are
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Special
