Adolescent Outpatient Services
The Adolescent Outpatient Services is designed to provide comprehensive services in a less restricted environment. The program is designed to continue for up to four (4) months.
The treatment provided is flexible and is conformed to the individuals needs. The actual length of treatment and services utilized are determined by the individuals needs.
Treatment services will be provided by licensed health care professionals, certified alcohol and drug counselors, counselors in training, and other staff who have specialized training.
The Outpatient services are provided Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. All group sessions are scheduled from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
The Outpatient Services consist of three components:
1. Intensive Outpatient Treatment
2. Intermediate Outpatient Treatment
3. Basic Support Team
Treatment Interventions include but not limited to:
1. Individual Sessions
2. Group Sessions
3. Psycho educational Groups
4. Family Sessions
5. Family Education
6. AA/NA Meetings
7. Random urine drug screens
Parent/Guardian participation is mandatory
Addiction affects the whole family and it is necessary to have the family involved in the treatment process. The focus of family therapy is to:
A. Educate family members about addiction
B. Help family readjust their patterns of interacting
C. Motivating family to establish productive changes in the family through communication and health boundaries
Assessment and Evaluation
Assessment and evaluations are done to determine the most appropriate placement for clients. Following screening and assessment clients may be:
A. Admitted into an outpatient level of care
B. Referred for further evaluation before admission
C. Referred for detoxification at an appropriate agency
